We want to return vacant lots and abandoned buildings to productive use — opening the door to bring life back into neighborhoods that have been forgotten for far too long. Through The New Roots Housing Initiative, we are stepping into underserved cities, identifying abandoned structures, and transforming them into safe, stable homes for families who need them most. Our work begins with raising funds to acquire our first multi‑unit home, which will allow us to support two families currently waiting on the Section 8 HUD housing list. And this is only the beginning. Our elders spent their lives protecting us — now it’s our turn to ensure they age in peace. We serve older adults through grassroots outreach, volunteer support, and direct home safety interventions. The Golden Years Home Safety Initiative expands this work into a full aging‑in‑place program across St. Louis. We’re also actively seeking additional companies to partner with us.
